Glenn's Story
Left BHS for horse shoeing school in Texas to prepare for pre-vet school at Auburn. It took them 2 quarters to confirm that I wasn't ready for prime time college. My draft notice beat me home! Not wanting to be cannon fodder on some God-forsaken rice paddy in 'Nam, circa 1970, I joined the Army for 3 years. t 30 years. Circumstance and the stars aligned in 2004 and I had a chance to throw in the management headaches and start a career in the Operating Room, my first clinical love while at UAB. I am now a staff nurse in surgery at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houson, TX. Also found true love living right next door..... Paula, who's next to me in the photo. Happy as a clam, living life large these days, just had my first grandchild October 2009, a beautiful baby girl, Alexis Rea.
