Gloria's Story
Life
I have 3 daughters, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. I've been a widower since 1984. I belong to the Mennonite Brethern Church.
I worked in the packing houses for 22 years. I went to college when I was 51 years old and graduated with Honors and a degree in Early Childhood Education. I used this education to become a foster parent. I started working in daycare when I was 65 year...Expand for more
s old and retired at 70 years old.
I do child care at my church and have worked with children at the bible club at my church for 23 years. I do volunteer nursery and library duties at church also. My life is very full with children around me all the time and I am also "grandma" to all the neighborhood kids and all the kids I have worked with through the years.
I feel very blessed with my life.
