Gloria's Story
Gloria is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her schools include Valley High School. She later attended University of Albuquerque, New Mexico to receive her BS in Business, and received her MBA from Las Vegas Highlands University. She worked at City of Albuquerque, then City of Houston as Asst Director of Public Works and Engineering and Executive Assistant to the Mayor of Houston, Owned two businesses. Received Businesswoman of year award- Houston, Texas and United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Received American Public Works Association's Harry Swearingen Award for Exemplary Public Service. Inducted in Public Works Training Center Hall of Fame, 2004.
