Gloria's Story
Life after high school. I worked that summer and fall of 1979, at the Kennedy School for Handicapped Children and in the spring of 1980 went to B CC for 1 semester. In fall of 1980 worked for the New Bedford Public School Department as a teachers aid for special needs.I received awards for outstanding teacher but in 1985 proposition 21/2 cut me and 200 other teachers out. I moved around a lot, mostly out of state. I seen all 50 states and some countries over the years. ral Arts Major. Took some time off than went back, got my AA degree. I Liberal Arts because they didn’t have the program I wanted.I have a son, who is just turned 31 .and is a chef. I worked for the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District for 11 years now and a swing shift custodian for 9 years now. I work at Artic Light Elementary School 3 years now and live in Fairbanks ,Alaska 25 1/2 yrs..
