Gloria's Story
I was the girl that transferred from the rival school, so not everyone was pleasant to me, I loved the school. The dances at the gym, but the memories are a little bitter, I am over that. I am happily married for 45 yrs to Carlos Salazar, he graduated from Brackenridge 1966, he played baseball for the school, he was and is a great baseball player. have 5 grown children and 14 grandkids and one great grandson. Worked at Kelly AFB for 17 yrs, not retired just staying home babysitting the grandkids. Teach CCD at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic church and also the President of JDMC, we assist inmates with their medical needs, we are advocates and we help all the states, I mainly do Texas, but we are short in volunteers so I do other states. my mother during her illness until she passed on in 2006. Have gone to Chimayo NM and also visited my baby Sis in Los Lunas NM. It is a beautiful state. When I get stressed I clean, clean and put some music on and keep on cleaning. WOW things get cleaned during this time
In our marriage is it a 2-way street we make each other happy by doing things each other like to do, even if one does not really want to. lol but after so many years we got to know each other and learn from each other. He is a very loving and caring man. On July 21 buried my beloved brother Raymond Isaac after a long illness. We were very close and will miss him terribly. Some of you may know him he used to play the saxophone in a band years back when parties were held at homes.
