Gloria's Story
What can I say... I still live in Freeport. I am a single mother with a 16 year old daughter (Destiny Luna) who is a junior at B'port. Working at United Way of Brazoria County - Director of Community Services. I find great joy in working with the community and helping those in need.
I recently acquired my (2) nephews ages 2 and 3 and a little neice age 5 months. They have been with me for 3 months now and may just stay with me for now on. (Only God really knows). So as you can say I am "starting over AGAIN". Raising children going from 1 to 4 has been quite interesting.
I love to travel and visit new ...Expand for more
places. (Doubt that I would be doing any of that soon, as even going to the grocery store is a challenge).
I also have a Yorkshire Terrier (Sparky)! He is a joy to have and a comfort as often times he is the ONLY one who will listen to me. (hahahahaha)
Trying to keep my sanity now that Destiny is driving and has her 1st job. (Remeber way back when....we had the keys to the car thought we could come and go) well imagine my desperation and grief as we venture in this NEW TASK in life.
Not much more to say except that we just live life one day at a time, continue to have faith and remain strong to our beliefs.
