Gloria's Story
Life
I live as quietly as possible on a farm with my husband, youngest daughter, a very spoiled cat and dog, cows, and chickens.
I've spent the past 20 years working as a Firefighter, Paramedic, and now a 911 operator.
My husband is a high-ranking police officer.
Recently, my oldest daughter announced that she is making a grandma out of me. I guess this means I need to dye my hair blue, buy some bright red lipstick...Expand for more
, and start wearing ugly clothes. lol
My youngest daughter is also doing her fair share to make me feel the years. She worked last summer as a lifeguard, and was a missionary the summer before.
Somehow my sweet, precious little babies have grown to become greatly responsible for so many others. I found a quote that sums it up: "You know that children are growing up when they start asking questions that have answers."
