Gloria's Story
I went to Wentacee Valley College and graduated from there in 1965. I went to Eastern Washington State College and left ther after 3 years because of the lack of funds. I finally went to work for Blue Cross of Oregon for 10 years, and then worked to take care of the elderly; I am now retired and enjoying life in the warmer climate of the Tri-Cities Area. ve't done to bad since I came from fifth from the bottom of our class. I just told myself since I was so ill when I was young, that I was going to study hard and make up what I'd had missed, in elementary school. I took bonehead English 101, 102, and 103 in college, and now I know how to write and how to spell. Thank God for Shadle Park and the teachers who did not give up on me, or the kids in my home room who made me feel welcome from MONTANA.
