Gloria's Story
I have been married to a great guy for 25 years now. We met when I returned home to Newberry Springs in mid 80's. I was working at Fort Irwin and he was a Soldier. We have traveled to many places with the military and last stop has been Clarksville Tn, where my hubby retired from the 101st, Screaming Eagles in Fort Campbell KY. I continued my civilian career with the Army and should be retiring in May of 2016 with 30 years of service.
I have 3 wonderful children. My oldest son Charles is a high school English teacher in Las Vegas. My other son, Glenn is a father to 3 children, twin boys who are now 7 and a daughter who will be 6 in September. He owns his own floor cleaning bus...Expand for more
iness in Miami. My youngest child is Amanda and she is a senior at Austin Peay State University here in Clarksville Tn and is scheduled to graduate in December and move on to complete her Masters degree.
I have had the pleasure to travel to many places on vacation and while visiting family in different locations. I visit Barstow area at least once or twice a year and will be attending the 40th reunion this year.
I am looking forward to seeing old friends again. I haven't been able to attend any previous reunions due to living overseas and my fathers birthday being in the beginning of September, to which I was always present for. It never seemed to coordinate with the reunions.
