Gloria's Story
Love the Lord... Greatest thing that ever happened to me! Looking forward to seeing what great things God will do next. He's the giver of every good gift. How blessed I am!
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Richard Tooth, because he was my first steady boyfriend.
My first job was while I was a Jr. in HS, at Irvine Park,CA. I was paid $2.50 per hour to be a Park Attendent.
What I remember most was when the hippies came in and took over the park. It was never the same after that. It was later closed down. Now reopened and is beautiful.
I lived in Kaiserslautern Germany for about 1 year after marriage in the summer of June 1969. Was married there (my husband was stationed there in the Army). When we came back stateside, we moved into a small house in Hawaiian Gardens, CA behind by husbands parents. From there we moved to Artesia, which was our first HOME, after we were married. We then rented a house in Lakewood, CA. That is where my two children were born. In 1976 we bought a house in Buena Park, CA. After 13 years of marriage we were divorced. Following the divorce I rented an apartment in Cypress, Buena Park, Anaheim, moved in with my parents in Buena Park (for a short while); rented a house in La Habra for several years and finally bought my first place in July 2004 out in Corona. I do the Corona Crawl commute every day.
Through the years I returned to school, earned certificates and degrees. I earned a ThB; ThG and Master of Theology Degree.
I¿m employed with the County of Orange in the department of Social Services, Family Self Sufficiency Division. I have 25 years of service and looking forward to re-firing!
Currently the majority of my time is spent with family and friends. I¿m very active in the church that I¿ve attended over the last 15 years and enjoy an ongoing personal and intimate relationship with my Heavenly Father.
I¿m not opposed to connecting with a man who shares the same values and vision that I have.
I am the Blessed of God and so appreciative of all that he does for me.
