Gloria's Story
Life
My son has developed a new interest in cooking. He was going to make us a Curry dish with rice. He shopped for everything himself to make it. On my way home from work I called to check to see if he needed anything. He said it was almost ready, and then he screamed, "Oh, NO! I burned the rice....". When I got home the entire house was filled with smoke...and I do mean the entire house. Apparently, he was playing some video ...Expand for more
games WHILE cooking. Not a good mix. My home smells like smoke still...two days later. Today I had to go a wedding. To prepare I took a nice leisurely bath with lots of fragrant bubble bath, and lovely smelling soap. Washed my hair and was ready to dry off. Then I smelled it. SMOKE! It seems my wonderful son used that same towel to fan the smoke a few days before. I thanked him for making me smell like a piece of burnt barbeque.
