Life
I graduated from Morehead State University in 1973 and became a teacher. My major is Health,Physical Ed. and Recreation, but I have taught everything that a school has to offer except chorale and band. I got married to Doug in 1971 when I was a sophomore at Morehead. Doug and I came back to his home town of Louisa, Ky. to live after we graduated. I got a job right away and so did Doug. In 1974, Doug and I had identical twin boys. I believe that the most important things in my life are my precious children. After 28 years of teaching, I decided to retire. Actually, my health made me retire two years early. Retirement is actually wonderful. I still go back to school and sub, just because I really love the kids and I'm not 100% ready to be away from them. Right now I'm enjoying being a Grandmother and doing what I want to do, when I want to do it. By-the-way, Doug and I have 4 grandchildren (Benjamin which is 4, Emily is 2, Adam is 18 months and Riley is 11 months).
