Carla's Story
Since attending Reunion (10 year?) At that time I was married to Bruce Kain. In fact I was pregnant with our 1st child when we attended that reunion. I had 3 girls with him, their ages are 23, 20 and 19. I am a Breast Cancer survivor now for almost 14 years. Bruce had a stroke at age 46 survived but left him paralyzed left side. The girls and I took care of him. Oh what a challenge this was everyday. Then when he was 51 another stroke got him and took his life. He is now in a much better place. I have owned 2 flower shops here in Nevada. I thank Cindy Robles for the training I received. Everytime we wanted to get away Cindy always had to work at flower shop on DelAmo and she/we couldn't leave till the flowers were cleaned. I do not have the shops anymore, but I work as a florist out of my house for mostly weddings or special occassions at our church. I currently work in a eye surgery center in Carson City, Nevada and I am a nanny for the Dr and his family, and I travel with them on vacations. I have a motorhome and a popup trailer so any time I have time off I go camping in the forests it is so beautiful here. We live only 30 minutes away from Lake Tahoe and 10 minutes away from a quick getaway in the Pine trees and camp fire. Anyone want a S'mores? The picture I posted is a picture of myself and my sister. I am with the short hair and my sister Andrea Goodwin-Walker who graduated in class of 1979 Lakewood High.
