Gordon's Story

Workplace Gordon graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa in 1987 and with a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa in 1996. He is presently the Manager, Qualifications in the Professional and International Affairs Division with the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers (CCPE) and is a member of the Secretariat to the Canadian Engineering Qualifications Board (CEQB). orces of the CEQB related to admissions and qualifications issues. He also assists the CCPE in facilitating the development and maintenance of national policies and guidelines related to admission to the engineering profession. Prior to joining CCPE in January 2003, Gordon worked for 15 years as a mechanical design/process development engineer in a number of industries including: pulp and paper, automotive, aerospace and biomedical.
