Gordon's Story
You can search for me on Google - I'm on the 'net. But, you know how the internet is.. don't believe everything you read.
After HS, I joined the Navy, since it was during Viet Nam, and I wasn't about to get drafted into the Army (I enjoyed living too much!). I met my first wife while at NAS Pensacola, and we were married in Houston after my discharge.
After USN, I worked at HL&P in the IT department (it was Data Processing back then); before moving back to Pensacola and working for an import car dealer as a mechanic.
Eventually wound up in Chattanooga TN, attending Bible school. By graduation, I decided not to pursue that 'career' so I remained working in IT for 9 more years, before moving back to Houston.

n 2004. My 2nd wife and I enjoy the relaxed retired life of peace and tranquility. We enjoy the 13+ grandkids we have between us, and we are looking forward to doing more travel around the USA.
We both believe that Life isn't about achievements or accolades, but is to be enjoyed and cherished in those special moments of love and relationships. Life is about people, not about seeking fame or status. #1 on our ToDo list should be a person, not a task. It's the old cliche' about stopping to smell the roses, and preferably WITH someone.
We also believe that life isn't meant to be lived in hardship or suffering, either. Some people say that when life hands you lemons, just make lemonade. But, we just choose to skip the lemons altogether! Life is sweet, not sour.
