Gordon's Story
Life
In 1969, my mother had remarried and my family moved to Belmont, CA, where I started 9th grade at Carlmont High for my Freshman year. (Only attended Alta Loma Jr. High to the 8th grade, I did not graduate from there.) Contact with many of my childhood friends in SSF was eventually lost, aside from a handful of friends whom I've managed to still keep in contact with, and others whom I've reunited with via this site.
Upon graduation from Carlmont, I continued with college and full-time work. I later changed careers from Operating Engineer of 15 years (Crane Operator), to become a Computer Technician within IS-Operations at the corporate level, which has now spanned nearly 30 years.

ife. I have played Men's Competitive Softball every year since 1979, now in my 44th year. As of 2023, I currently pitch for 2 competitive teams in Pleasanton and Danville.
I have 2 dogs and a cat. I also live near Old Town Pleasanton (Main Street), a town that holds 1800's architecure, and remains a popular tourist attraction in the Spring and Summer months for this reason.
I obtained a Private Pilot's license in 1991. I have a younger brother who is a Naval Aviator, and flew the S3 Viking jet on the USS Constellation (that Carrier has since been replaced by USS Ronald Regan).
I would be interested in hearing from anyone from El Camino High and Carlmont -- in order to reunite and share some of our past experiences.
