Amalie's Story
Well after years of putzing around with a terribly useful bachelors in psychology I finally returned to school and got my graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. A long and daunting internship later I passed both licensing exams and am a licensed psychotherapist. I work with people with severe and persistent mental illness which I love. I married HS sweetheart Dana Hohn. He is a union organizer for SEIU Local 721. We have two dogs and two cats and no children (works for us). I am into cooking and food. is cheesemaking. July 2, 2008 will be our 20th anniversary - hard fought and won. I truly enjoy hearing from old classmates so do drop me a line!
Oh, and the photo - I'm into competitive stairclimbing. That was in Oct 07 when I competed in my first charity climb to the top of the tallest bldg in Los Angeles. 75 floors- 15 minutes. I took 3rd in my division. This year I am hoping to break 14 minutes on Sept 26th. You can contribute to a great cause at Ketchum YMCA. Just choose Sponsor a Participant and enter my name.
