Grace's Story
After graduation on 6/1/62 I married on 6/25/62 & moved to the Ft Campbell,KY area, then husband was sent to Germany 3 months later. I came back to Ft Myers & went to work for Drs Underburg & Snow. Six months later I went to Germany for 4 months. When husband got out of the Army, we stayed in Ft Myers for several years, with a minor move to Bradenton for 6 months.
After our 2nd son was born, moved to Charlotte Co. We were both in the insurance business there.
Separated & then divorced in 1983/84 & moved back to Fort Myers. Worked for State Farm agent Ray Faubion until 8/1986. Got engaged & married & moved to Pinel...Expand for more
las Co & have been here ever since. I kept working for State Farm agents (had 2 retire on me!) until I retired in 2008 as Insurance was not fun any more in Florida!!
Enjoying reading, traveling, finding new restaurants & visiting wineries, along with Air Museums, my husband's passion. I have traveled to most of the U.S. states, still needing to get to Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota & Washington to see all 50.
I have been helping the class of 1962 Reunion Committee by locating classmates & having a great time doing it.
Had a great time at our 50th reunion & hear there will be plans for a 55 one!! See you there??
