Life
I've probably changed a lot from the 16 y/o girl who graduated in 1960. I went two years to USL, then worked at Iberia Parish Hospital in Medical Records. In 1966, I married Lawrence "Buzz" Zancanella and have lived in Glenwood Springs, CO, ever since. We have three grown daughters and two granddaughters. We're enjoying semi-retirement. and fax my work in at the end of the day--that suits my homey personality just fine. I love reading, knitting, and hiking. I've stayed in touch with a couple of New Iberia natives--Mary Wyche Estes and Francine Shuler Garzotto. I do miss New Iberia and always have. Can't take the Cajun out of me, I guess. Colorado is wonderful and home to me now, so I feel I've had the best of both worlds. I would love to hear from anyone who would like to write. God bless you all, Gracie
