Workplace I began work at Beth. steel in the spring of 1975 , in central crane repair at the shops complex , next door to the machine shop ( to the east ) and , the power dept. ( to the west ) . There is also the fab shop, with whom I worked with on a regular basis , and the tractor shop , along with the Yards & transporation shop. We got to know each other fairly well over the course of the next 18 years & a few months, which is when I transfered to the cold mill. I've been in the cold mill since , I still work there as a millwright on the picklers at present. I've worked on the single stand , CHTL , hot dip , rewind line , wrapper, duo mill , (parts) 5 stand , roll shop , raw coil storage ,and a few other areas I can't name, as well as the picklers. Some may remember me from many other areas in the plant , from my days in CCR.
