Grant's Story
Wow, lots to catch up on in 40 years. Moved to New Orleans in October of our senior year - didn't get to graduate with you guys. Met and married my bride of 36 years, had four kiddos. Oldest just bought a house right across the street from us - cool! Second one lives here in town too, he's a computer geek. Google has approached him for employment, but that would mean taking two of our five grandchildren and our daughter-in-law to CA or some other deserted remote location. Bah, humbug! stationed at Ft Polk with his wife and the other three grandkiddos (one girl, two boys, all under five.) And my little girl works for a bank in South LA.
Went back to school late in life and got my Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology. I have been preaching at an Independent Christian Church for the last five and a half years.
Life's lessons - our hope lies in the future. Looking to the past is a project doomed to hopelessness and despair, because it can't be changed. May God lead you to enjoy this fantastic adventure we call life.
