Greg's Story
After graduation,1968, I was drafted in the military and fortunatley at the last stop in LA I was able to be reclassified and didn't have to go to in the service,Viet Nam. Though, many others did and sadly did not return. Almost all of my friends did return and I stay in touch with many high school friends still. I married Jan Hennessey and we had two kids, Shawn -36 and Amber 31, who have given us three grandkids and, as luck would have it, it is just about to come full circle. Their kids are starting to be what their parents were to us as we raised them, and what we were to our parents when we were growing up. It makes me laugh and I remind my son Shawn about that just when the time seems right. pes of concrete, grading, trenching, pipeline, carpentry, and landscaping, to mention a few trades, that I learned in about 10yrs, I then went to work for Koll Construction, moved to Mission Viejo, and started building office buildings, office/warehouse buildings, condos, etc and have been doing this since. I owned my own contracting business for about 10yrs remarried in 1994 and have ended my true construction career with Opus West Construction in 2008. I do want to continue building in the future for myself and others, I just can't stay away from it, along with selling real estate. I now work for Prudential California Realty in Mission Viejo and live in Lake Forest. I obtained my real estate license about 5yrs ago and have since begun a new career in real estate.
