Greg's Story

Life Hi there, fellow Railsplitters! I am currently living in Holland, Michigan (no, not the country), and have been for 20 years. I am a freelance journalist and broadcaster, writing for a variety of publications, including the Grand Rapids Press. I also am the radio play-by-play announcer for the women's basketball team at Hope College, which won the 2006 NCAA Division III national championship, and for the Holland Blast, a pro basketball team that debuted in 2006 (they play in a league called the International Basketball League.) 19 years and we have two daughters, Lindsay, 15, and Megan, 12. We enjoy the outdoors, going to air shows (Leanne is a licensed pilot and flight instructor) and hitting the beach (we're 5 miles from Lake Michigan). Yeah, I'm still a bit crazy about sports, although I think I've cut back on my watching of sporting events over the years as my family has grown. (I also am finding that my knowledge of sports trivia is fading badly...which might not be a bad thing.) I don't get over to Lincoln Park much anymore, but do hear from a few folks, would like to hear how you're doing!
