More about Greg:"My name is Greg Granger. I was bit by the “entrepreneurial bug” at an early age. I must have been about 10 or 11 years old, and one of my school chums, Doug Moore, and I had this idea about creating our own car. As fun as it may have sounded, it got an early death. The “business flu” has never left me since.
I’ve been around Network Marketing off-and-on now for over 20 years. I first got introduced to the Network Marketing industry at a NuSkin meeting back in about 1989, and instantly got fascinated with the concept of being paid on the efforts of others. I moved out to Vancouver, BC, Canada, and became the office manager for the franchise of a local Network Marketing company called Quantum Hi-Tech Health. They marketed a “stop-smoking” and a “weight-loss” device (2 separate devices) that used the body’s pressure points to help in these 2 areas. Unfortunately, the Network Marketing company failed due to several factors (mismanagement being one of them!), as about 95+% of Network Marketing companies also have.
I’ve seen many company concepts in my 20+ years in the Network Marketing industry (website development, shopping malls, long distance and local telephone service, “waterless car wash”, pills that will help your car get better gas mileage … the list is endless!). The one concept that ha...Expand for more
s had the most impact, IMHO, is health and wellness. This is one of my passions, as I’ve lost both sets of my grandparents to heart disease or diabetes. If there’s one thing that rings true, it’s that you “have nothing if you don’t have your health”. Now with that said, I’m going to step off of my soapbox! LOL!
Another one of my passions is mentoring and educating people. This was given to me by one of my mentors, Michael Klimek (I would like to dedicate this blog to another friend whom he introduced me to, Linda K. Yates (July 22, 1944 – November 21, 2011), who lost her battle to heart disease, as she was a very close friend to me and will be dearly missed). He started a newsletter back around 1998 (maybe before then!) called “MLM Truth”. It educated people on how to choose the right company … so there is a lesser chance of them getting scammed. I will always be grateful to him as a mentor and a friend. I, like him, always believed that you should “put companies under the microscope” before you get involved in a company; to never act on emotion. But this happens too much in the Network Marketing industry, and too many people get hurt because of it. I’d also like to send out a tribute to another one of my mentors, Lou Abbott, over at MLM-TheWholeTruth.com. He has also made a huge impact on my Network Marketing career. Thanks for all that you have done for me, Lou … I can’t thank you enough! It is my mission, and duty, to help educate the masses, and to show them that there is a better way to pick your “Network Marketing home”. I will do this in an objective and unbiased manner. I’m sure that some people may not agree with my point of view, but we’re all entitled to our opinions. That’s what I love so much about Free Speech!".
