Greg's Story
Life
I moved to Kentucky in 1985 and got married. I have a 33 year old stepdaughter. She's been married for 11 years and has given us a beautiful granddaughter and grandson! Can you believe that!?!?!?! We also have a 20 year old son and a 18 year old daughter.
Update: My daughter eraned a full ride academic scholarship to Morehead State University (tuition, room, and board)! She has other scholarship money that should cover all her books and miscellaneous expenses, too. I'm so proud!
We are active in our church and with local youth sports programs. I play guitar (a little) and sing in church. I coached Little League Baseball for about 6 years. I've been a Little League Umpire for the past 8 years. I'm also an official for high school baseball, softball, football, basketball, and volleyball. A...Expand for more
couple of years ago, I broke into the college softball umpiring ranks. This year I'm an umpire for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III. I also work for the NAIA conferences. I was surprised to be added to the "to be considered" list for NCAA Regional Tournaments this year. I didn't get selected, but being considered is the first step. Who knows, maybe you'll see me at the College World Series some day.
I work as a senior systems analyst for Mountain Telephone in West Liberty, KY. I've been doing software development work for the past 17 years. Man, I need to get into something else!
The country life has been good for me. After 23 years I think I'm officially a hillbilly now. Everone noticed my southern drawl at the 20-year reunion!
