Greg's Story
Life
Well, life changes again! Greg continues to work for EXXONMOBIL as a drilling operations supervisor but has transferred From Angola, Africa to Argentina. He has now transferred back to Bogota Colombia as an operations superintendent. He is working on a land drilling project. That brings his total to 21 countries on 5 continents, and we have lived in Alaska, Spain, Venezuela, Colombia and Australia over the past 35 years.
We have relocated (again)and are now in the Houston, Texas area. We found out we were 20 years too young to live in Arizona! ha We have built a new home and are living north of Houston in Magnolia, a beautiful area far enough from the craziness of Houston, but close enough for the good stuff!
Our son Jeremy graduated from Northwestern University (Chicago) in 2003, and moved to Hollywood to begin his career in the movie industry, with his goal to become a film producer. He is currently working at Marvel Studios as a producer, his new title is "Senior Vice President of Production and Development" and he is a co-producer on the new Marvel movie "Iron Man 2". his dream. He was Associate Producer on the first Iron Man movie, which was hugely successful! Iron Man 2 will be out in May 2010. It should be better than his first!! He got engaged on New Year's Eve, 2009, so we will be celebrating a wedding in the summer of 2010, after the opening of Iron Man 2, and we couldn't be happier! So much to be thankful for. Jeremy was promoted to Exec Producer for the Avengers and the movie ended up as the 3rd largest grossing movies in US history.
Kristi works for RaceAway Hospitality, a company that sells NASCAR tours on the internet (hotel, race tix, transport to/from the track, hospitality, pit passes), and loves every minute of it! I get paid to go to races and make sure our groups have fun - what could be better than that? Greg goes with me when he is in country, but it gives me something to do while he is gone. Travel, racing, people - I can't believe they pay me to do this job! If you are a NASCAR fan, look us up on the web and come join us at a track, it's a good time!
