Greg's Story

We have been living in the Dayton area since 1979 and have most of the family (daughter, two sons, one son-in-law and three grandchildren) near by. We stop by the Hey Hey when ever we are in town to see Timmy and Sue: plus we catch up on the latest news of the South End. We see a lot of outside concerts: Bonnaroo, Rothbury, 10K Lakes, All Good Festival, Hookahville, Grateful Fest, Memphis in May, the Fraze and Nelson Ledges Quarry Park to name a few. The bands we follow range from Country/Bluegrass to Jam grass to Dead and on the fringes and in between: Columbus/Dayton/Cincinnati bands: Bug Hounds, Spike Driver, Skeleton Crew, Terrapin Moon, Rumpke Mountain Boys; National Acts: String Cheese Incident, Phish, Dead, Govt Mule, Dylan, The Black Crowes, Yonder Mountain, Cornmeal, Ragbirds, Old Crow Medicine Show, Keller Williams, Les Claypool, Oysterhead, Radiohead, Dark Star Orchestra and many others similar bands My quest is to find the perfect Margarita: Elsa's Bad Juan is a good ...Expand for more
measuring stick. We have restored our 1920 house to hard wood floors and have remodeled the kitchen two years ago and that was the last room to be finished. Time to start again! Brief History: Out of South I joined the USMC and did one continuous tour in RVN from Aug. 66 - Nov. 68. I met Ted C. and Steve K. in Da Nang on my first tour. After returning to the States, I lived in Columbus where I met my wife. We moved with two children to Dayton in 1979, because I could spell ATM and knew what they were about. I worked 10 years for NCR all over the US, in Switzerland and Germany. 1989 I left NCR to join Mead Data Central and have been there 20 years last month. I received my diploma from the University of Dayton: Computer Science. I was taught Systems Analysis at Columbus Technical Institute in Columbus. Bill Howard turned me on the program in 1975, he was teaching one of the classes. We travel, camp, boat, visit family all over the US, ski (snow and water) and just enjoy life.
