Then, 2000 a major back injury, and I had to learn to walk again. Started own remodel business and quit right before the Dot Com bust. Went to work for Kidder Mathews 2001, as an Engineer 1. Remodelled houses (Including my own) and started a consulting business. ( Single home property management ) Moved to Camano Island and rented Marysville house. Andrew Joins Army, (Military Police Investigator) gets married. 2007, Life as I know it, ends. Financial crash, company looses all customers ( they go bankrupt), Marysville House distroyed by renters who we evict. We move back to Marysville, and loose Camano House. 2010 is the worst year on record. We make a tactical decision to give up Marysville house(upside down) Almost divorced and bankrupt, and worse... As I wrote to a Brother of mine, " I can no longer feel the seasons, I fear, all is lost" In March of 2010, one, then two, then three, of my friends, take their lives. As I wrote, " Something is happening to me.None of what was before, is important. I see now, all of it, and I think I understand." 2011, is a building year. Andie and I reconcile, kids begin to recover. I am a Freemason (Past Master, 2011, Everett Lodge #137 F&AM of Wa.) and am very active in this area (District 8) and my brethren come to my aid. Andie and I are both very ...Expand for more
lucky to have kept our Jobs, (She is a Supervisor, Medical Records, Providence, and is pursuing a Bachlors in Medical Coding. I am now the Chief Engineer, Electrician for Kidder Mathews and continue to obtain licenses and education. In life,Rock and roll for me has been replaced by new age "celestial transendantal harmonics" and I have a long term email relationship with Chuck Wild, (67 Yo)of Liquid Mind (new age, from LA) in which we discuss philosophy. I listen to his music , on my BB while performing high voltage wiring. And my apprentices get lessons in electrical application, and phylosophy and WE, as a TEAM, have been been awarded team of the year twice in the last three years. I learn how to lay down (Fall), then ride, my Honda Gold Wing with my wife, and when it is sunny, we take the Wing, and "Liquid Mind" for a spin. My Son Mike and I create three dimensional art for my Fraturnity, and talk of philosophy (Deep elemental origin stuff) Andrew and Wife have given me "Jeremy" (2 1/2 yo) he is the most beautiful thing in the world. We opted not to do "Play School" toys, but instead he sports a belt with real tools and is always eager to build with his Papa. We built our first box together in Feb, 2012. He is a "Papa's Boy". My son Mike is a model student who is chariterized as "the most serious kid in the world" I dare you to talk philosophy with him, he'll blow you mind. He is a Past Master Councillor of the Marysville De Molay (Masonic Boys Order) and I, of course will be so very proud to welcome him into my Fraternity in April of 2012. Together, after seeing badly burned children in the Shriners Hospitals,(Masonic) we were anguished and have devoted our lives and Masionic carriers to Faith, Hope, and Charity. My step daugher Jennifer (25yo) still comes from Alaska to visit her Daddy (and remind me of my humility, as she requires 100 percent care while here) My goal for the rest of my life, is to practice my humilty through selfless service to humanity, and of course, be a good PAPA. I am very involved in many charities and my sons will be as well. "In 2010, I lost almost everything, but, it would seem, I have found my humility." It was worth it, and I now stand, humbly, on the plain of the possible, as a citizen of the universe. ( it get's deep)So before I get too deep, I wish will you the best,in all your travels, and may your heart, and your wisdom, illuminate your journey. Peace.
