Greg's Story
After living on Mackinac Island for 14 years my wife Peggy and I decided to move to a warmer climate. We moved in 2007 to a town just north of San Antonio, TX called Boerne. It is in what they call the Hill Country of Texas. Our youngest son Zac and his wife went to the Univ of Texas San Antonio and finished in 2006 and they decided to stay in San Antonio. We started to spent winters here in 2004 and liked it so much we made the move last year, 2007. I have been selling real estate since 2006. I was able to buy my office, which is a franchise last Sept. It is called Realty Executives. Peggy works for the Boerne ISD. Zac was working for another real estate company and has since obtained his brokers license and is my broker. He is currently a property manager for the San Antonio H...Expand for more
ousing Authority. He has 489 apartments he is is in charge of. His wife Elizabeth, who is also from Mackinac Island, is a finacial advisor and works for a company in downtown San Antonio. Our daughter Sunshine lives in Greenville and works for the Correction Dept. and still has not found the right man(we spoiled her to much). Jason is married to Sasha, who he met when she was working on Mackinac Island, and they live in Rockford. Sasha just gave birth to our first grandchild, Misha, in June of this year. Jason also works for the Correction Dept. and Sasha is a teacher there in Rockford. If anyone is looking to move to a warmer climate and also an area with jobs(San Antonio is adding jobs everyday, 6900 just in June 2008) give me a call and I will be glad to talk to you about it.
