Greg's Story
"Hi!" to those who get to this point.
I haven't decided to become a Gold Member yet, so I'm pretty limited as to what I can see or do in Classmates. For example, I can't see who has viewed my profile and signed my Guestbbook. In addition, I prefer Facebook over Classmates and that's what keeps me from going Gold.
Currently ... My wife, Kathy, and I live about a mile south of Valparaiso. We've been married 32+ years. All four of our children ( 2 boys / 2 girls ) have flown the coop ... youngest one left about 3 years ago. kes us proud grandparents. The youngest son and youngest daughter aren't married yet, but we expect that to change in the next year, if not sooner.
I'm retired from US Steel, but getting bored so I'll likely start looking for some type of job in the not too distant future ... "honey do" projects help keep me busy, but they'll only take me so far. My wife teaches 2nd grade ... she doesn't plan on retiring just yet.
I, like many who graduated from CHS in 1968, have either attained the age of 60 or will soon hit that milestone in our lives. Personally, I'm not looking forward to turning 60 next January, but it certainly beats the lone alternative. "HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY!" to everyone.
