I have got to start out with George B. Armstrong. I don't know why but I have a strong affinity for my 9 years spent there. It was the building, hallways, classrooms and teachers that really make it a lifelong memory. Like the blackboards that raised up to be a cloakroom in every classroom. And the funky turn of the century gym-auditorium that doubled for where we ate lunch and then booked out those 8 doors to the playground. The Christmas plays where you had to wear a white dress shirt and dark pants or dress with those big huge red or green bowties carrying our homemade lanterns from oatmeal boxes, a flashlight tinsel, and colored cellophane whilst we did this goofy stutter-step in unison grade by grade on a entrance and exit procession down the aisles of the auditorium.
