In 1978 he transferred to UC Davis, receiving the Bachelor's degree in Economics in 1980. Over the following year he traveled to Chile seven times until Andrea had no resistance left. She agreed to marry him and come to California. In 2004 Andrea and Greg were blessed with identical twin daughters, Victoria and Sophia, and the Lucas family was complete.
Today Greg continues advising individual and corporate financial planning clients. Andrea is a professor of Spanish at Sacramento City College. The twins Victoria and Sophia are in first grade.
