Gretchen's Story
Gretchen is from Wantagh, New York and has lived in West Roxbury (Boston) MA since 1978. Gretchen's schools include Wantagh High School. Gretchen later attended Yale University and Loyola University of Chicago.

ked as a writer and researcher for a Boston public education advocacy non-profit. Gretchen has lived in West Roxbury since 1978, where she is active in community organizations including West Roxbury Saves Energy and West Roxbury Friends of Rosie's Place (a shelter for poor and homeless women). A longtime member of Theodore Parker Unitarian Universalist Church in West Roxbury, she has organized church field trips to Brook Farm and manages the Web site. She was a board member of the Boston Women’s Heritage Trail from 1996 to 2011 and treasurer from 1998 to 2011, and currently serves on the BWHT advisory board.
