First of all I really enjoyed High School. It's strange to think that historically it was a time of great race strife. I actually got knifed in the bathroom by a fellow team mate on the football team, and gassed and narrowly avoided being bitten by attack dogs at a Butler BB game. Oh well, things have gotten a little better in that department. (It took me a while to figure out how much Conridge help resove tensions at Lee) Good life. Thought I was watching my life when I saw Forrest Gump. As a child I live anfew mile from the house in the movie (Greenbo)Met the Kennedy's, knew George Wallace well. Knew the Bear well, was drafted but missed Vietnam by two weeks. Have had a wild ride. Opened a P.C. Computer business immedatly after H.S. ans sold 4 P.C;s in 1 1/2 years. Opened a Solar Shop next and franchised 305 store before selling. Worked at Handy Dan and reported to the two guys that left to start Home Depot. I built the first store. The stock split 6 for 1 3 times a year for five years! Became good friends with Sam Walton in 1980 just before his IPO. He offerred me a job but I turned it down (would have been worth 10 million more in 6 moths!!) Have been in Healthcare informatics for 18 years.
