Linda's Story
Life
My Spouse
I have been married twice. I met my first husband at a dance at Whispering Hills Country Club in 1967. We were married for 18+ years and lived in Hot Springs, AR for 13 years before getting divorced in 1986. I met my second husband when he was pouring a new driveway at my parents' home in 1987. He was a self-employed concrete contractor. We got married in 1988 and are still together.
My Pets
We had a mixed English Terrier named Sissy, who died in July, 2013 at the age of 15. We now have a Border Collie mix named Maggie who was 1 year old on 2-9-14. We also have two gray cockatiels, a male and female named Lucky and Rosie.
My Kids
I have a daughter named Christy Michelle who is married to Tim and they have given us three precious grandchildren, Chase Tyler, Ken...Expand for more

I also have a son named Shawn Michael who is single.
My second husband has three children, two daughters and one son. Stacey is married to Eric and they have given us two precious grandchildren, Preston and Audrey. Jamie is married to Lori and they have given us three precious grandchildren, Ashley Justine, Connor William, and Addison Elise. Hope has been married twice and lives near Nashville, TN and has given us two precious grandchildren, Alexandra and Vivienne.
My Job
I was a Corporate Secretary & Administrative Assistant for a material handling equipment dealer. I had a variety of duties too numerous to list. I worked for the same company since returning to Louisville in 1986.
I got laid off in January, 2009, and am now retired and loving it.
