Christina's Story

Life I am a deaf sign lang interpreter as well as managing MC HAMMER'S former drummer! I am, myself a musician (fiddle; banjo; uke and trap drums) and have been told I'm good, but often joke that I only play in the shower!!! I have had 4 children and three g'babies. My ties to Lakewood have all but evaporated, as both my parents have passed, and yet I love Colorado, and periodically visit. I have lived in the greater SF Bay area now for 42 yrs., and am "confirmed". I can't imagine living anywhere else as the diversity here lends to my way of thinking and life style. I guess you can say I'm ultra liberal, but given the political climate these days, that's not a bad thing (Go OBAMA!!!). I realize a nation is not made based on one man (or woman) as we hopefully still have the system of checks and balances our forefathers brought to the table. Of course I hope things improve to such a degree that our children and their children aren't faced with impossible...Expand for more
alternatives. I always wanted to be a Medical doc when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were mostly right, but the closest I've come to that is doing medical sign language interpreting for deaf patients. I play music or go out and hear music when I'm stressed...everything music I say!!! The wildest thing I ever did in school? Cut all my American history classes and yet got an "A"...go figure!! If I recall, the prof was THE most BORING of any I ever had.... I am a confirmed Californian, but love to travel. IF I had my way, I'd be on the road; ocean; or airways CONSTANTLY. I've got an incurable "wanderlust". My current age is 67. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be boring and decrepid. I was so completely wrong!!!. I think the thing that would shock most at my reunion would be how stylish and current I am. I also am told I don't look my age, and often pass for someone far younger.
