Guillermina's Story

I have been happily retired since May 22, 2008. I would have never, in my wildest dreams, imagined retirement would be so good. I knew it would be good but never this good. After almost four decades of hard work and commitment to studies, work and other things, I finally am only committed to take care of myself and to only do what I want. That, in itself, is the best investment of time and energy.

d in hand with my travels. Through photography I have learned to be more patient, observant and reflective.
I have always enjoyed travelling. Most recently, on May 4th, 2011, I returned from a 9-week trip to Europe. I spent three weeks in France and six in Spain. Of the six weeks in Spain, five were spent with fellow photographers (friends) whom I have met through one of the online groups where I post my photographs. In 2009-2010 I made two trips to Mexico. I often travel to the East and West Coasts, and just about everywhere I get a chance to go.
