Guy's Story
Reflecting back on life since high school has been quite a journey filled both with pitfalls and successes.
Married twice with two daughters and two stepsons, and five grand-children currently.
Decided to keep residence in California, Livermore to be specific with a beautiful home in the vineyards.
Currently working for Lam Research Corporation as a Senior Operations Manager for the Legacy equipment business unit. Met my current wife at Lam, and we are both 16 plus years of tenure with Lam and looking forward to retirement one day.
Did manage to become a good student, but not until a life chaning event in my late 30's. Did complete my B.S. and M.B...Expand for more
.A. in my forties, and loved every minute of instruction and in fact, my second career I wish to go back and teach in high school....go figure.
I like to travel abroad with my wife and we recently completed a three-week galvant of Europe and loved every minute!
Still love to read, and quite active, including still playing basketball three-days a week, and can still run with the young guys.
It has been a journey as stated, rough at time, but definitely full with learning opportunities.
I hope all young people leaving high school realize that one must see every challenge and opportunity as a chance to increase knowledge which can make life rewarding.
