It's been a long ride since 1974! I lived in Alaska since I was 12 years old, 1967 until 2006, when I retired from the State of Alaska, Dept. of Natural Resources, and moved to Hawaii. I live here in the house my husband and I built 18 years ago. We had it rented all this ti...Expand for more
me so we are in the process of upgrading everything. Needless to say, I am loving every minute of it! However, sad to say, my husband does not love it so we will not be retiring here permanently. We will be off to somewhere on the mainland (not Alaska!) sometime in the future.
