Gwen's Story
I attended Roosevelt High in Fresno, Ca. from 80-81 and then transferred to W.F.West High in Chehalis, Washington from 81-83. Graduated in 83 and went to Centralia Community College for 2 years. Married Norman Flanders in 85 and moved to San Diego, California for 6 years while Norm was in the Navy. We had a girl (Lauren) in 1988. Moved to San Francisco for the next 12 years where we had a boy (Benjamin). job moved us back to Charlotte, North Carolina in March 2005. After a year we quit our jobs and opened up our own Organic Market in the heart of the arts district. We were the proud owners of Nude Food Organic Market for several years before selling it. Norm now works for the city and I work as a freelance writer. Lauren is in college, is a manager at Victoria's Secret, and was a contestant in the Miss North Carolina pageant. Ben is in the 7th grade Honors Program and plays football. We live with our cat Ginger, kitten Meg, and two dogs, Lucy and Sophie.
