Gwen's Story
I spend a lot of my time teaching and a lot of my time traveling, seeing the world so to speak. I have taken my grandchildren to different parts of Europe and Asia. We had a great time! I wanted them to see that there are other cultures and to walk the history of our ancestors. America is a toddler compared to Europe. We are new, they are old.
I am retired from JPMorgan Chase.
I will leave Wednesday, 17th, for Harbin, China to teach English. I will be there for a year, maybe more. I will travel China, Mongolia, Russia, Korea, Japan and of course the land of the Hobbits and Elves. ...Expand for more
My dream is to make it to a peaceful Afghanistan, traveling from Pakistan through the Kyber Pass. I am so excited to be doing this. Hey guys wish me luck and good skills. Keep me in your prayers
Off to China again on May 30th, taking my grandson with me. His graduation gift. Then going back to teach again. After China maybe India. Have a great summer guys.
I forgot to add that a friend of mine wants me to come teach in HOTHOT so I may do that. Today is my birthday.
Had a great time in China with grandson.
Got the job in Inner Mongolia (HOHHOT) so I am off around the end of July!!!!!
