Gwen's Story
After high school I went to Cameron for 2 yrs. and met Bill Handy. He was a 1971 graduate of Eisenhower and a 1975 graduate from Cameron. We were married in July of 75, a few months after he was commissioned a LT in the US Army. We were married for 2 1/2 yrs. when he was killed in an accident Jan. 1978 while we were stationed in Mannheim, Germany. I came back to Lawton, and, in Feb. 1980,I married Gary Sosnowski. He was an Army Capt. stationed at Ft. Sill.
After 10 yrs. of Army life with Gary, he retired. We live near Oklahoma City in Yukon and have 2 children, whom I home educated for 1...Expand for more
4 years. Son Jason was born in Kansas and is 24 and daughter Daely was born in Italy and is 21.
Gary retired from the military in 1991 and works as a contractor developing instrument flight approaches for Chickasaw Nation International.
I am retired from having kiddos at home 24/7 for 20 years! I am glad I did it, but I sure am enjoying my "retirement".
Daely is married and has given us our first grandchild, Alexis, or lovingly known at Lexi Lou Who by her grandmother.
Jason and Autumn were married 06-07-08.
We are so blessed to have all our kids and grandbaby living so close to us.
