Gwen's Story

Hello Former Classmates, Alot has happened over the years since leaving R.B. Stall High. Alot good and some not so good (but now forgiven - thank you Lord!). I do not think I would try to change things as they are part of the fabric that makes me me. We all have things we can count as learning experiences- right? It took three tries before marriage finally worked out for me. I must say the first two were before I allowed God to do His thing in my life. The first 2 marriages only lasted 1-2 years. Mark and I will be celebrating our 15th anniversary in July. It is still rough sometimes but God definitely makes a positive difference in a marriage! Professionally I started out in the restaurant management industry for about 13 years and then joined the corporate world in the Human Resources field to the present. uch more at an older age than when I was in High School! So far my overall GPA is a 3.8 - much better than H.S. I have two grown sons Steven 25 and Tyler 21 and one baby daughter in Heaven. Both of my sons got married in 2007. So now I have finally have two daughters! The picture in my profile is as the Mother of the Groom from my youngest son's wedding. I am trying hard to be a good Mother-in-law and not meddle..... Going on 5 overseas mission trips has been the most exciting and educational part of my life! I have been priviledged to go to Suriname twice, Haiti, Zambia and Bangladesh. My eyes have been opened to how truly blessed we are in the US. I find that I don't take things for granted as much. Watching the Lord work on those trips and being a part of it has really increased my faith too! I just returned from Bangladesh in Feb 08, and I am ready to go again on another adventure!
