Gwendolyn's Story
Life
I married Mack Bixby (Arcade Central '69) six days after graduation, on June 27,1970. We bounced around to a lot of places, mostly in New York State. From 1981 to 2004 we lived in the Central New York area, first in Phoenix, and lastly in Fulton, a small city north of Syracuse. We have five children--three boys and two girls, all grown and gone. Three of our kids and their families live in the Buffalo area. Our oldest son Scott and his wife have blessed us with three grandchildren. On July 15, 2008, youngest son Ben and Christa blessed us with our third granddaughter, Lily Starr. Our oldest daughter and Hubby Ahron are expecting a girl in January 2009.

etary at the Franklinville Free Methodist Church. Before we left Central NY I worked full-time as a reporter for an Internet only newspaper for a while and as Children's Room Coordinator for the Fulton Public Library. Mack was employed for over seven years as a child protective investigator with the Oswego County Dept. of Social Services. For the past six years he has been working as a case worker trainer with SUNY Buffalo Research Foundation. We're making some adjustments to the changes (empty nest, back in the old home town area), but we both like being closer to most of our family--Our middle son Jason (33 and still single) lives in the Syracuse area, and youngest daughter Susanna, who got married in February 2008, lives in the Albany area. We haven't been to any class reunions lately, but hope to get to Mack's 40-year reunion next year. Maybe we'll see you there!
