H.S.'s Story
Well,After High School I went to College at LaGrande and then transferred to Portland State University and spent an additional two years in studies after graduation.
Got married twice, neither took, but the Judge split everything right down the middle, and I got the better half; my four kids. Two sons; two daughters. I raised them myself and then, kicked 'um out ta' the nest; kickin' and screamin'. (They nearly kilt' me for they locked the door on me!)

I retired in 2005 and began writing. Currently I've published two historic novels and working on my third.
Ahem, (little commercial here y'all) My second book is due out June 1st in bookstores near you!
The title is "Sagebrush and Gold Dust" and is a true story of life and times in Baker from 1882 to 1921 about my family with plenty 'o
Murder, mayhem, hard drinkin' range wars, hangin's, gold fever, an account of an accident that leaves a daughter half crazy with a shot gun bearing grudge against chickens, and such.
That's about it folks, oh, forgot, I came out of the closet in 1996. Now that's about it!!
