Robert's Story
School
I was active in school spirit related activities (pep club, school mascot "Robbie the Ram", Rally Chairman), and later returned to Millikan in 1975-76 as the Activities Director.
Military
I entered flight training as a NAVCAD...Expand for more
in 1965. I flew the last combat deployment of a propeller-driven aircraft off a U.S. carrier, flying the A-1H/J off the Corral Sea 1967-68. I completed my military service as a flight instructor in VT-2 at Whiting Field, flying T-28's.
