ASA Ames Research Ctr. for three and one half years. Controlled three spacecraft on a daily basis. While I was there, we were the only American spacecraft (Pioneer 12 which orbited Venus) to have a close view of the comet. Pioneer 10 was the first man made object to pass beyond Pluto's orbit.
In 1989, moved with my wife, Sue, to Nebraska to be near her family, and we raised our two youngest kids in Lincoln.
