Renee's Story

Hello Classmates, WOW! What changes can happen to a person in 20 years. If any of you are surprised of my life twists, none more than my own family. I was the "career" person; always wanting a family though. I left Corona in '88' to join the Army (I know all of you Panther players can believe that!). I was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. I spent 2 years and got out due to a major head-on collision. Went to IBC in 1993. Married an Apostolic preacher in 1994. Gave birth to mirror-image identical twin boys, Jeremy and Joshua, in 1995. My husband and I started a church in our living room in 1997. Gave birth to another son, Nathaniel, in 1998. Our church moved into a building the same year. I had a full term still-born daughter, Rebecca, in 2001. Joining my other 3 boys was Jonathan, in 2003. Hoping to have another one in the near future (at least before 40???). I am homeshooling my wonderful boys (which is a full time job in itself, not including all my other full time jobs). I am full-time 'Mama' to 4 boys, full-time teacher to 3 (soon to be 4) boys, full-time pastor's wife, full-time secretary, part-time counsellor, p...Expand for more
art-time musician, part-time designer, part-time s.s. teacher, etc. etc. etc (none of which I get actually paid {cash in hand} for. It is a privilege to be able to see my boys as they grow everday and to see the young men they are becoming. What an awesome (and challenging) job it is to see them molded into god-fearing American citizens who realize thier responsibility to God, home and country (SOoooooo many are not these days). I lead an absolutely full, joy and peace-filled life. God has changed the direction of my life in so many awesome ways! Most people who meet me now, cannot believe that I was the manager of the football team, or was ever in the military. It may sound to you like I am some kind of religious wacko. That can not be further from the truth. That's just it, I have found TRUTH. Just like some get exited about the Lakers, the Angels, the Dodgers, the 49'ers or any other team, I get exited about Jesus. He wins ALL the time! He NEVER loses! Until you experience what I have experienced you can't understand it. What is the ol' cliche - "Don't knock it till youv'e tried it". Hope to see you at reunion!!
