Nicole's Story
Well...about 6 years ago, my husbands job transferred us to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I guess we've sort of made it our home now. My husband is a District Manager for a shoe company. He oversees about 30 stores spread out over all of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and part of Missourri and Texas. We are celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary on Oct. 26th!!wow. We have two kids, Alexis 13, and Logan 11.
I have a business decorating and painting (faux finishes) and my latest thing is designing clothes that I sell here locally. It's alot fun, I really enjoy it. If I could have done anything ...Expand for more
different after high school, it would have been to follow my dream and go to design school.....(oh, the what if's!!!)
Anyway...
As much as I love Oklahoma, I do miss California. And I think part of it is that my history is out there and I don't like feeling cut off from that. I have been back to visit at least once a year, but there's never enough time to squeeze in visits with everybody I'd like to see. I'm looking forward to our 20th reunion...can you believe it's only a couple years away??? Wow, we're getting old!
