Nan's Story
The 'professional' side: after completing graduate school at Vanderbilt University (I'm a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist), I was on faculty there for almost 14 years. After my divorce, I decided it was time to relocate. A terrific job opportunity working with the National Institutes of Health allowed me to move to Philadelphia. My absolute love of American History, combined with the fact that I bought a fabulous home in Center City that was built in the late 1700's, made this an incredible adventure in my personal life, too. This past year I decided to take some time off to complete some professional projects. So .... I relocated 'temporarily' at our family's lake cottage in North Alabama. How good to be back home again, though I really do miss my friends in the north! Update: I am now working in Washington D.C. Love it!
I'd love to hear from anyone regarding our good old Lee High School days! What a great period of time!
As for the 'personal side' ...... I am the mother of 4, can you believe it? Well .... they are all the '4-legged variety' .... two French Bulldogs (Bogie & Bacall ..... can you tell I remain a hopeless romantic?) and two cats (Chanel & Mango).
